GOOD TO KNOW: OUR FAVORITE CABINET & HARDWARE PAIRINGS

Choosing the right cabinet and hardware pairings can be overwhelming. You spend so much time deciding on your cabinet color and then, next thing you know, you’re ordering every hardware color under the sun to pair it with. Well, luckily we have plenty of experience doing just that. Here are our favorite pairings from across the board!

GREIGE CABINETS

A greige color is a classic neutral and versatile color and one of our absolute favorites for a timeless design. We recommend using a brass or oil-rubbed bronze to go along with this color. This will really make the color pop and bring out the warmth in the paint tones.

NAVY CABINETS

When choosing a dark cabinet color like Navy blue, we recommend going with a brass hardware. The brass plays off the blue tones in the cabinet color and provides a beautiful pairing. We did this in the office of our Dallas project and we love this example from DeVol Kitchens.

WHITE CABINETS

How classic are white cabinets?! They are one of our absolute favorites. White cabinets can be paired with basically everything. The versatility of the white cabinet is nice when wanting to mix metals and colors. In our Sunrise Drive project, we went with a dark hardware to really make them pop. In our Herbert Ave project, we went with brass hardware to give it a more classic traditional look.

GREEN CABINETS

Green cabinets add color and personality to your design. Pairing brass hardware alongside your green cabinets adds a sophisticated touch, while using black hardware gives it a more modern or organic feel. We used black hardware in our Dallas project to give it a more casual feel. An example of using brass would be from one of our favorite designers, Heidi Caillier. Brass + green = modern traditional love
