Before & After: Spring Road

Our clients asked us to help them finalize furnishings and add finishing touches to their newly completed home, which they worked with Clayton Vance Architecture to design. The careful attention to classical details throughout laid a beautiful foundation for a timeless family home. With the architectural design leaning more towards a traditional aesthetic, the family wanted to furnish the spaces with more casual pieces to suit this phase of their lives with young children at home.

This is an approach we really love—selecting classic finishes and fixtures for the bones of a home will help it to stand the test of time, and layering in furnishings and accessories in a more modern/casual styles makes it a more balanced aesthetic that will feel current and relevant.

“I loved seeing the difference new paint and accessories made. The house already is so beautiful—it just needed some finishing touches to make it feel complete!”

- Georgia Barnes

We used many of the clients’ existing pieces in new layouts, and brought in new pieces to complement what they already had.
