Good to Know: W Recommends Holiday Gift Guide

Gifting season is here and while there are a lot of holiday gift guides floating around the internet - we wanted to share one with products we’ve all collectively used, loved, gifted or were gifted. Rest assured none of this is sponsored so our opinions are shared out of simply loving these items. Our hope is to help think outside the obvious gift box for those hard to shop for friends and family members.

| Our Junior Designer, Sara Ronna gifted her sisters and friends the Makeup Set from Glossier last year - everyone loves the boy brow and their mascara is her absolute favorite.

| If you’re looking for a gift under $20 for anyone — friends, kids, neighbors, etc. the Standard Baggu Bag is just the thing. It’s such a great size that can surprisingly hold a lot stuff and it can be folded down to fit into a handy pocket case.

| If you haven’t tried the Crude Wash before, you should buy two — one for you and one to gift. Marianne’s whole family has started using it because the soap-free formula cleans your skin without disrupting your skin’s flora like so many harsh soaps do.

| Gathre makes great products that are the perfect gift. We especially love their bonded leather tablecloths! They are wipeable and water resistant plus, they always have the best selection of colors and patterns.

| This hand towel is our Lead Stylist Marcie’s new favorite. It takes a few washes to soften and stop shedding, but once it does, it's really lovely and would be a great hostess gift. We love the Ayrton and Russo colors.

| This hair perfume by Byredo might seem like an indulgent gift but the best gifts are ones that someone would likely not buy for themselves. It’s a super fine mist that you spritz in your hair to freshen it up. We love the Gypsy Water and Mojave Ghost scents best.

| Leatherology makes great inexpensive leather products. Their Small Shave Bag would be a great gift for husbands, boyfriends or sons but it would also make a great make up case for traveling.

| We’re big fans of anything from Everlane — they have be the best basics. These white sneakers are finally back-in-stock and are so cute and comfortable.

| This lotion body stone is a genius idea: it is a solid body lotion that melts on contact with your skin and is in completely plastic-free packaging. It would be a great gift for someone who is hard to shop for.

| This Tom Ford gloss is worth the hype. Not only is it beautiful on, the packaging is a 10/10. Our designer Cambri was gifted a tube from a friend in the Phantome color for her birthday and she loves it so much she’s already decided to be buried with it.

| When we were in Austin, we stopped by the Le Labo store and Marianne bought their newest scent, Thé Matcha 26 and it smells amazing. It’s a blend of fig, soft vetiver, cedar woods and bitter orange notes. For someone who prefers a more fresh and floral scent, our designer Georgia asks for Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Cologne. Fun fact — Meghan Markle also loves this scent!

| The John Derian Picture Book is a whimsical coffee table book where everyone will find something to enjoy. It's big and the illustrations are beautiful.

| We love this linen line. The texture is so beautiful and the table cloth or napkins are versatile enough to be used throughout the year. We love the creme color option.

| If you’ve been following us on Instagram, you likely already know how much we all love our Parachute bedding, particularly their quilts. This Parachute Linen Quilt is a great weight — not too light, not too heavy.

| This Sailor’s Whisk is a fun little accessory to add to your coffee or console table styling. Perfect to pair with a great art book as a clever and useful gift.

| Another favorite gift idea for anyone, boy or girl, is Everlane’s Cashmere beanie. It’s so soft all the colors are excellent options. It’s a staple piece for these cold winter months.
